A commitment to low-carbon transition and job creation.
This project reflects our commitment to addressing the challenge of the building sector's low-carbon transition and ensuring French industrial sovereignty. We have set a goal to manufacture an additional 180,000 units by 2028. This expansion is expected to create 300 jobs in various sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and research and development (R&D).
A major industrial project.
GROUPE ATLANTIC currently has two heat pump manufacturing plants in France, located in the Hauts-de-France region. We have also recently invested in Clade Engineering Systems (Clade), the leading British manufacturer of CO2 natural refrigerant heat pumps.
"Our future heat pump site in Chalon-sur-Saône will, like our 24 sites in Europe, be close to our European customers. Located in a dynamic industrial region, it will complement the production of our Merville and Billy Berclau sites, especially for outdoor heat pump units. It will benefit from the best expertise of our group's industrial teams and partners. We can be proud of this major industrial project in France, which confirms our group's commitment to producing renewable energy solutions."

This new factory and the investment of nearly 150 million euros over 4 years will allow the production of 180,000 additional units per year by 2028: including outdoor monobloc units and indoor units, with a priority on outdoor units.
Construction will begin in 2024, with production scheduled to start at the end of 2025 and potential expansion in 2027.
