10,000 employees worldwide : a story of constant growth since 1968

In September 2020, the acquisition of the Russian company SST marked a new milestone for GROUPE ATLANTIC: reaching the 10,000-employee mark.
 

Founded in 1968 in La Roche-sur-Yon (France, Vendée region) by two engineers, Paul Radat and Pierre Lamoure, GROUPE ATLANTIC is proud of its French origins: most of the production still takes place in France (13 plants) and a new industrial site is currently under construction in the southeast of France. The Group, nevertheless, quickly chose to expand and share its expertise internationally, first in Europe and then in the rest of the world.

As the Group has grown, so has the number of employees

In ten years, the Group’s workforce has grown by a factor of 2.5, a direct result of our organic and external growth. 

Whether they are technicians, sales personnel, workers, marketers, digital experts, R&D engineers, logistics coordinators or accountants, our employees across 4 continents share a common mission: to transform prevailing energies into lasting well-being, and to provide thermal comfort solutions which are accessible to all and tailored to our customers’ individual needs.

Our challenge: to grow while remaining agile! 

Growth is good, but safeguarding the spirit of a family business is even more important. Maintaining strong fundamentals and an entrepreneurial mindset is tricky when, at the same time, we believe in fast-paced growth. GROUPE ATLANTIC has given its local teams a lot of autonomy. This helps to foster a sense of togetherness and to streamline communication in a way usually found in small and medium-sized businesses. Such a decentralised approach ensures rapid decision making and operational agility, which, in turn, positively impacts our customers.
